Set against the historic backdrop of the Greenwich Campus, this program invites students to explore key moments in British, European, and world history. Covering diverse themes such as migration, gender, environmental change, and national identities, the course spans from the 17th to the 20th centuries. Access to central London’s rich archives and museums significantly enhances the learning experience. What You’ll Study
Year 1:
- Core concepts such as Ideas and Practice alongside foundational topics in British history and global commerce.
Year 2:
- In-depth modules covering WWII and the Anthropocene, with optional language courses and work placements to gain practical experience.
Year 3:
- A capstone dissertation paired with options on specialized topics like Ottoman life, environmental history, and propaganda.
Work Placements & Internships
The program offers a sandwich year that provides 9–13 months of paid industry experience. Shorter placements are also available through selected modules, supported by Greenwich’s extensive network of employers.
