MArch Architecture at Greenwich
Greenwich's MArch Architecture program provides students with a comprehensive and contemporary architectural education, combining academic rigor with professional training. Located in the innovative Stockwell Street Building, designed by Heneghan Peng, the program offers a cutting-edge learning environment, focusing on advanced building design, digital representation, and integrated design projects. Students also have the opportunity to complete a thesis tailored to their individual interests, preparing them for future architectural practice.

- Advanced Architectural Design (40 credits each for Project Themes and Major Project)

- Study Options:
- Available as a two-year full-time or three-year part-time program.
- Part-time students attend classes two days a week.
- Bursaries:
- £18,500 cash bursary or fee waiver available for eligible students.
- Professional Exemption:
- Successful completion grants exemption from the ARB and RIBA Part 2 Examination in Professional Practice.
Workload:
- Full-time students can expect approximately 40 hours per week of study, equivalent to a full-time job.
- Part-time students will have a reduced workload, attending classes two days a week.

Graduates are well-prepared for careers as national and international architects, with direct support from the Employability Officer and Greenwich’s central Employability and Careers Service. Services include:

Support Services:
- Academic Skills & Study Support: Includes access to Adobe Creative Cloud software, and additional resources for academic English and mathematics.
- Opportunities to showcase work at an end-of-year exhibition.
- Training in IT packages necessary for architectural design and practice.
This program merges practical architectural training with in-depth academic study, providing students with the skills and support they need to create exceptional portfolios and thrive in the architectural profession.
