In your final year project, you will combine these skills and knowledge to develop, carry out and report a substantial piece of original, empirical psychological research. Teaching is undertaken by internationally renowned academics who employ a variety of teaching and assessment methods (for example: lectures, seminars, tutorials, laboratories, group work, supervision, essays, reports, in-class presentations, and examinations). These methods will help you develop transferable skills, such as teamwork, critical thinking, psychological and scientific literacy, research skills, and oral and written communication skills (including the skills involved in presenting to an audience), which are valued by employers across a wide range of industries. They will also help prepare you for postgraduate study in psychology and beyond.
