Program Description
Structured for students in the biomedical sciences who are pursuing training in basic and translational clinical research, the M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine is for those interested in biomedical research and related health professions. This includes cellular, molecular and developmental biology; anatomy; and genetics as it relates to the normal biology of organ systems. You will gain a fundamental overview of the normal form and function of the body's major organs, the main types of disease that afflict those organs, and the types of disease processes involved, as well as knowledge of methods, strategies and approaches to preventing or treating disease.
