Program Description
Distinct from other M.S. programs in the College of Engineering, the Master of Engineering positions students to enter the field in a professional role immediately upon completion of their studies. The intensive, interdisciplinary curriculum delves into a range of research-oriented and entrepreneurial-focused topics among many subplans, including aerospace engineering; civil engineering and engineering mechanics; innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship; mechanical engineering; and mining, geological and geophysical engineering. As part of a student's preparation to enter the workforce, the program features a personalized academic plan, access to the school's wide network of industry leaders, online degree options, and even study abroad opportunities.
