Master of Architecture (M.Arch) at the University of Arizona
The NAAB-accredited, STEM-designated Master of Architecture at the University of Arizona is offered through the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA). Available in two- or three-year tracks depending on your prior architectural training, the program emphasizes critical practice and sustainable design shaped by the unique landscape and climate of the Sonoran Desert.
At the core of the M.Arch program is a carefully orchestrated series of design studios and synthesized support courses that foster mastery of both fundamental and advanced architectural processes. The curriculum combines place-based design with cutting-edge material and environmental research, all delivered through hands-on learning experiences.
Students in the program connect with a close-knit community of graduate peers across CAPLA's other programs, including landscape architecture, real estate development, and urban planning.
