Geography and Planning
Sorbonne Université, France
Overview
In Year 1: students benefit from help with academic work through TUTORING (certain courses are associated with the Tutoring system).
The goal of tutoring is to promote students' integration into the university and their success in their undergraduate studies. It provides personalized support to quickly acquire the independence needed to pursue higher education. Tutors are Master's or Doctoral students who contribute their skills and expertise to undergraduate students.
The tutoring will help in particular with the completion of a team project (creation of a poster) which will be integrated into the continuous assessment of the “Analysis of Geographic Documents” module (in EU 3 of the Geography and Planning Degree). Attendance at the tutoring will be taken into account in the assessment of this module.
