Fashion Arts

These skills include illustration, 3D computer-aided design, sewing, pattern making, textiles and clothing construction. The curriculum also emphasizes sustainability, diversity and technology. The program culminates with a presentation of your graduating collection, where you can showcase your avant-garde designs in your area of interest — whether it’s streetwear, outerwear, evening wear or couture. Adding to the Fashion Arts program experience is access to our Fashion Resource Centre, which houses over 12,000 Canadian-worn garments and accessories dating back to 1840. Throughout this program you will develop the following skills:
