Discover Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBU)

Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBU) was established by Decree Law on May 18, 2018, after separating from Sakarya University. The university adopted the motto "Integrating Knowledge with Skill" and is one of only two universities of applied sciences in Turkey, dedicated to practice-based higher education.

SUBU focuses on producing graduates who can meet the demands of the modern workforce through its innovative education models. The university applies a 3+1 education model for vocational schools and a 7+1 model for faculties, requiring students to spend at least one semester working full-time in a relevant industry. This approach ensures strong ties between academic learning and real-world professional experience.

Recognized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YOK) and accredited in several EU and Arab countries, SUBU offers programs primarily in Turkish across fields such as engineering, technology, tourism, agriculture, health sciences, and sports sciences. The university maintains an international student office to support foreign students with academic and campus life matters.
