Overview
Political Science and International Relations
The Political Science and International Relations Undergraduate Program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to deeply comprehend political, cultural, and economic developments on both national and global scales. It seeks to enable students to acquire the qualifications sought after in the national and global environment and labor markets. Additionally, the program intends to provide students with a scientific understanding of social phenomena and events, allowing them to comprehend the roots of prevalent opinions and practices, question them when necessary, and potentially generate new policies.
Such an objective requires students to possess knowledge of political theory, history, as well as the scientific methods used in political economy and social sciences.
Graduates of the program will be better equipped to analyze societies, cultures, national and global institutions, and the politics of foreign policies. Consequently, they will have responsive and flexible career opportunities in today's job market after graduation. They will have increased employment prospects in institutions like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other official bodies, internationally connected civil society organizations, the social research sector, and international institutions and markets.
