Overview
Electronics Engineering
Electronics engineering is a branch of engineering that examines the characteristics of low electrical currents, communication of signals, and signal processing technologies. At Sabancı University, the Electronics Engineering program provides prospective electronics engineers with the capability to adapt to this rapidly evolving field and contribute directly to its advancements. Our program is designed to encompass courses distributed evenly across various fields such as electronic devices and circuits, optics, communication systems, information, and signal processing. Structured with a project-based innovative approach, the Electronics Engineering program aims to educate students through realistic engineering and design problems. Graduates from the Electronics Engineering program leverage the competencies acquired here and their strong foundations to assume technical leadership positions in sectors like electronics, computer, and communication due to the practical skills and solid background they gain.

The Electronics Engineering Course Curriculum
At Sabancı University, students pursuing undergraduate education have a wide array of elective courses available to them. However, naturally, each program includes mandatory courses that must be taken. For the Electronics Engineering program, to give a few examples, courses such as Semiconductor Physics and Circuits, Introduction to Signal Processing and Information Systems, Microelectronic Manufacturing, and Optoelectronics are offered. Just like in any undergraduate field, project courses are compulsory in the Electronics Engineering program. These projects can be taken not only within the Electronics Engineering domain but also from different undergraduate programs. The medium of instruction is English. You can find detailed information about the courses in the Electronics Engineering program on the program's website.
