Visual Communication Design

This field highlights the need to go beyond conventional design paradigms to address gaps in current practices. Therefore, our department offers a robust educational program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical, project-based experiences, preparing students to engage with multiple areas of expertise. The department’s unique approach focuses on developing versatile visual design skills applicable to all media, distinguishing it from other programs.

Objective: The recent growth and expansion of the advertising and mass communication sectors in Türkiye have increased the demand for professionals specialized in visual communication language.

To address this need, the Visual Communication Design Department focuses on supporting visual design and management, with competencies ranging from the design of printed products to video and film production technologies. The goal is to train professionals who can actively participate in the mass communication and advertising sectors. The department’s primary aim is to train internationally competent visual communication designers who can effectively manage the relationship between communication tools and people and develop a clear and impactful narrative language.
