Mount Saint Vincent University, commonly known as MSVU or The Mount, is a public, primarily undergraduate university located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Established in 1873 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, it was one of the few institutions of higher education for women in Canada at a time when women could not vote.
Today, MSVU welcomes students from more than 70 countries and offers over 40 undergraduate and 34 graduate programs across the arts, sciences, education, and professional studies. The university is nationally recognized for having among the smallest class sizes in Canada, providing students with a personalized and engaging learning experience.

- 1873: Founded by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul as a women's academy in Halifax.
