Providing future-focused degree programs in sciences and arts, social services and health, education, communications and business, along with diploma programs in social and aviation, the University has been imparting quality education to students for decades. Mount Royal University was awarded the Ashoka Changemaker Campus designation in 2017, which brought the university among the 44 educational institutions that are leading higher education in areas of social innovation and change-making. There are around 15,000 students currently enrolled at the University. 79% of the graduates work in positions related to the program from which they have graduated within a year of completion of their program. Since the humble beginnings of the university, more than a century ago, MRU has been committed to quality post-secondary undergraduate education in Calgary.
