Dear students, I personally wish to welcome you to the web site of International Logistics Management Department at İstanbul Medipol Universty. This is an exciting time for our department, as well as an exciting time for any student interested in a major in International Logistics Management!

Our country and especially our region have important advantages for becoming a strong logistics center. The purpose of the International Logistics Management program is both to promote the importance of the logistics in Turkey, and educate global "logistics leaders" who can create added-value in the sector, equipped with the latest knowledge and practical skills needed by the logistics industry. 

Overview

At the Department of International Logistics Management, we have a talented and diverse group of faculty members who are at the cutting edge of their fields and being held at the highest standards in terms of instruction and research.You will receive a solid foundation in international logistics and supply chain management with modules such as transportation management, distribution channels and supply chain management, logistics planning, retailing, inventory and many more. Next, modules on economics, accounting and marketing will provide you with a robust business education. These add up to a broad-based and comprehensive curriculum. As a graduate of this program, you will be prepared for a career as an analyst, manager or specialist in such departments as transportation, logistics, purchasing/procurement, warehousing and international trade.
