ISS assists international students with visa documentation, I-20 and DS-2019 forms, SEVIS check-in, and cultural adjustment. All F-1 and J-1 students must complete mandatory orientation upon arrival at LSU.
All international students in F-1 and J-1 visa status are automatically enrolled in the university-sponsored health insurance plan. Students with comparable alternative coverage may apply for a waiver by the 14th class day of each semester.
