From the beginning you will start to develop the high levels of professionalism that employers look for, along with the understanding of how organisations operate and the ability to apply theory to real-life situations – making you efficient and effective in any organisational, cultural or social context. This course gives you the wide understanding and practical skills required to be a successful manager. It covers all the essential aspects of business management from accounting and marketing to strategy and change so you graduate ready to hit the ground running in any organisation – even a business you’ve started yourself. The course is part of a wider portfolio of Business Management degrees, all of which have been designed with flexibility in mind. You start by building a solid foundation in the core principles of business and management. Then, at the end of your first year, you can develop a specialism by switching to any of our Business Management pathways (with the exception of Business Management with Law).
