Architecture

 In this context, the mission of our Department is to be a Department that develops national and international cooperation within the framework of scientific and artistic activities and provides quality education with high technologies. Graduates from the Department of Architecture are awarded an 'Architect Undergraduate Diploma'. Our graduates receive the 'Architect Title'.

The Department of Architecture Education and Training System follows a holistic approach in spatial design using science, art and technology. It also aims to serve as a bridge between interior space (interior architecture) and exterior space (landscape architecture) by following an interdisciplinary approach.

Business Areas

Design studios are at the heart of the education-training program. Design studios begin in the first year and continue for four years. The main purpose of the design studios is to strengthen the education process by developing students' own individual original projects, taking part in teamwork and collaborating with other departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (e.g. Interior Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture).

Graduates of the Department of Architecture can aim for a future in an academic context by choosing Postgraduate Programs (Masters and Doctorate).

Graduates of the Department of Architecture can work in the public sector, in the private sector (e.g. in architectural offices) in Turkey and abroad, or they can establish their own businesses and participate in construction and similar sectors with project work.
