Programme Overview: Architecture at KTU
The Architecture programme at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is an integrated study programme that blends science and art, preparing graduates who understand that a building is not only a place where people live and work but also an important part of our surroundings that shapes how we live. Students learn using contemporary technology and knowledge of historical, aesthetic, socio-cultural, and ecological contexts throughout the five-year programme.
As a graduate, you will be able to visualise innovative architectural design and urban planning solutions, generate creative ideas, and implement them. You will develop the ability to create individual projects, work closely within a team, coordinate and lead projects, and apply BIM methodology alongside other construction participants.
The programme is housed within KTU's Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, which traces its origins back to 1922 and has a rich tradition of architectural education in Lithuania. You will be taught by experts awarded with the highest national prizes, with opportunities to join internationally renowned research groups and the KTU GIFTed Community for talented students.
