Overview
The Master's degree in Literature aims to train students over two years who are specialists in French language and literature, from literary sources from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, by providing them with excellent training, focused on research training.
The common core of the Modern Letters course is based on:
- an introduction to research in literature (documentary research and ICT, theory and practice of research based on specialist seminars),
- fundamental courses in literature (knowledge of literary history, history of genres, history of ideas as well as literary theory and criticism),
- basic language courses (knowledge of the French language, diachrony and synchronicity, linguistics; modern language).
It also offers a foreign language proficiency course over the four semesters, a professionalization course and an internship.
