Architecture

The fact that the Department of Architecture is located in the Historical Peninsula of Istanbul provides the privilege of education in a “laboratory space”. Thus, the learning process is provided by doing, seeing, observing, experiencing and designing. The learning contents have been designed in a way that will provide city-architecture-art interaction. The Department of Architecture, like other departments of the Faculty, believes in the importance of international and national interaction environments. For this reason, national and international trips and workshops are an important part of the education process within formal education. One of the main goals of the department is to produce projects by collaborating with existing architecture departments in our country and international architecture departments. Topkapi University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Architecture aims to train individuals who are competent in their profession, environmentally sensitive, have professional ethics, and can work in national and international architectural environments.
