New Media and Communication

Fenerbahçe University New Media and Communication program has started to accept students since 2019 - 2020 academic year. Students have the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the program in the Media Center, which is under the Faculty of Communication. The language of instruction of the program is Turkish. In the New Media and Communication program, an interdisciplinary education program was designed as well as the basic sciences of communication. This program includes courses on working areas such as social media management, mobile application development, digital marketing. Prepared with this perspective, the program includes compulsory and elective courses that contain a critical and developmental perspective on the issues covered by the field of cultural studies. Based on the course plans, the University's institutional learning outcomes, the features of the programs and the student-centered learning approach, considering the sixth level qualification definitions for undergraduate programs and the Basic Field Qualification definitions and credit intervals, the information that students are expected to gain when they successfully complete the relevant program, It is designed and updated by clearly stating skill and competency levels.
