Częstochowa University of Technology (Politechnika Częstochowska, CUT) is the largest and oldest institution of higher education in the Częstochowa region of Poland. Founded in 1949 as the School of Engineering (Szkoła Inżynierska), the university has grown into a comprehensive technical institution with full academic rights, including the authority to confer doctoral degrees across all its faculties.
With over 70 years of scientific and educational tradition, CUT has educated more than 94,000 graduates who have become highly qualified specialists in technical and economic sciences. The university employs over 1,400 staff members, including 840 academic teachers, and offers around 90 courses within 19 fields of study across six faculties.
CUT actively participates in international research programs including Erasmus+ and EU Framework Programmes, fostering global partnerships and student mobility.
