What to Expect as a Spanish Major

Spanish Courses

Our majors study a core of courses designed to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills along with cultural sensitivity and knowledge. Students supplement the core with courses best suited to their future plans.

Careers with a Spanish Degree

A degree in Spanish will help you pursue a career with employers such as: bilingual/translating services, the Department of Defense, hospitals, public and private schools, Rosetta Stone, Social Security Office, State Department, and Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
