Faculty of Pharmacy

With practical courses conducted in laboratories equipped with modern equipment and devices and 6-month compulsory and additional elective internship programs, students are provided with all kinds of knowledge and skills related to the profession. It especially provides and encourages internships abroad.

In addition, elective courses are directed to areas that interest students, allowing them to graduate from our faculty with unique skills and find a job. In order for graduates who want to receive Clinical Pharmacy Education to be successful in the Pharmacy Specialization Exam (EUS), an intensive patient-focused education program including clinical pharmacy/pharmaceutical care concepts and practices is provided in the 4th and 5th years, and free preparatory courses are organized starting from the 4th year to prepare students for activities such as the EUS exam, the Patient Information Competition and making presentations at congresses. 

Our faculty aims to train qualified researchers who will create added value to the Turkish Pharmaceutical Institute, world science and the academic field with “ Pharmaceutical Technology ” and multidisciplinary “ Drug Design and Development ” doctoral programs and by providing volunteer students with the opportunity to work within the scope of TUBITAK-supported research projects. With a management approach that values ​​international studies and collaborations, it also supports, helps and encourages Fulbright and many scholarships and work opportunities after graduation. The structuring studies in accordance with quality standards for all programs that contribute to pharmacy education, including Specialization in Pharmacy, Erasmus+ and the European Qualifications Framework, are renewed and continued every year. Our faculty has completed its accreditation processes and the National Qualifications Framework (UYÇ) has explained the qualifications in an education system at the national level and their relationships with each other. In other words, UYÇ is a system where the qualifications recognized and associated by national and international stakeholders are structured in a certain order, and within this scope, it provides pharmacy education designed to be compatible with TYÇ (Turkish Qualifications Framework), AYÇ (European Qualifications Framework). The education and training provided at the Faculty of Pharmacy covers all quality assured qualifications gained within the system and in other learning environments. For this reason, the Faculty of Pharmacy has been granted the right to use the TYÇ Logo in diploma supplements.
