Department Goal

The Visual Communication Design department, which anticipates the demands of a digital and technology-based economy, is becoming more valuable than ever in a transforming age. Technology is also shaping the designer of the future. With the development of innovative applications such as the metaverse, artificial intelligence, and NFT, there will be a need for people who apply visual communication forms in these applications. These applications are bringing the design and communication fields into the mainstream. Users in emerging markets demand new and richer experiences, and there is a greater need for people who will apply visual communication.

Vertical Transferable Departments

All students who want to transfer to our department through vertical transfer are placed by ÖSYM if they take the Vertical Transfer Exam and get the required score.
