Psychology

An eight-semester syllabus is prepared considering the needs of today and the future in a way that allows to closely follow the current information and developments in basic psychology fields such as clinical psychology, organizational / industrial psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, experimental psychology. Our academic program is shaped to increase professional experience by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical studies. The medium of instruction is Turkish. One-year English Preparatory Programme is optional. Psychologists have the opportunity to work in different institutions depending on the desired areas. Hospitals, special education and rehabilitation centres, kindergartens and day care centres, counselling centres, classrooms, schools, human resources departments of companies, institutions of Ministry of Family and Social Policies, prisons and courthouses of Ministry of Justice are some examples of work areas for psychologists.
