First Aid and Emergency Care

The First and Emergency Aid program is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in emergency medical services and trauma management. The program profile centers on a two-year curriculum conducted in Turkish, with an optional English Preparatory Class available for those aiming to follow international emergency protocols and global healthcare developments. Students gain the technical competency required to manage a wide range of emergencies, from cardiac arrest and respiratory failure to trauma and environmental injuries.

A core pillar of the curriculum is the mastery of pre-hospital clinical decision-making and technical skills. Students receive intensive training in advanced airway management, intravenous access, and the administration of emergency medications under high-pressure scenarios. Using high-fidelity simulation laboratories and ambulance equipment, they learn to stabilize patients while ensuring safe and efficient transport to medical facilities. This hands-on approach ensures that graduates are ready to lead in the chaotic and unpredictable environments of emergency medicine.

Throughout the program, students develop the physical stamina, mental resilience, and communication skills necessary for effective teamwork in the field. Graduates emerge as "Paramedics" or "Emergency Medical Technicians" ready to work in emergency stations, private and public hospital emergency rooms, and air/sea rescue services.
