Accounting and Auditing (Thesis)

The Master’s Program in Accounting and Auditing (Thesis) is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and research skills in the fields of accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. The program emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical applications, enabling students to critically assess financial statements, apply national and international auditing standards, and navigate complex ethical and legal frameworks in the financial world.

Students are required to complete 8 courses and a master's thesis, totaling 120 ECTS credits. The curriculum includes core topics such as advanced financial accounting, auditing and assurance, financial statement analysis, managerial accounting, accounting ethics, and research methods. Through their thesis work, students develop independent research capabilities and gain the ability to produce original contributions to the field.

Graduates of the program are well-prepared for careers in auditing firms, corporate finance departments, public institutions, consultancy, or academic research. Courses are delivered in Turkish at the centrally located Taksim Campus, offering students access to modern classrooms, a rich library, and strong transport links.
