Our History

With a legacy dating back to 1993 when it was known as the Australian Stage Combat School (ASCS), the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory (APAC) has been a cornerstone in delivering exceptional performing arts education in Brisbane. Evolving into the Actors Conservatory and later rebranded as the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory, our institution has proudly cultivated a 30-year history. During this time, we’ve consistently produced professional graduates who have flourished in successful careers across theatre, screen production, and media.

A PORTRAIT OF APAC

At APAC students are encouraged to embrace their unique backgrounds and perspectives to explore their creativity in a supportive community of like-minded emerging artists. APAC educators will encourage you to interrogate your practice, grow your skills set and express yourself in unique and authentic ways.

APAC celebrates diversity, knowing that this diversity fuels creativity and fosters a more inclusive and welcoming environment.

At APAC we believe that creativity is a powerful force for change, and we are committed to helping our students develop their artistic talents and make valuable contributions to the world.
