Aims of the Department:

-Cultivation of graduates who can give direction to the science of psychology thanks to an understanding of education in international standards;

-Knowledgeable about ways to access information, inquisitive, creative, and capable of using their imagination;

-Respectful, works in accordance with ethical values, productive and sensitive to social problems;

-Respectful of their self-values, developed communication skills, conducting scientific studies and contributing to scientific studies;

-It aims to cultivate individuals who think critically, contribute to their nation and humanity, possess a sense of social responsibility, and uphold the values of democracy.

Istanbul Arel University Psychology Department provides students who do not want their education to be limited to a bachelor’s degree with the opportunity to become experts in their fields with Thesis and Non-Thesis Psychology and Clinical Psychology master’s programs. A Doctoral program in Psychology is also available for students who want to continue their careers in the academic field. Acting with the awareness that the science of psychology is one of the most important branches of science, Istanbul Arel University’s main goal is to train scientists who will contribute to the future of both the field of practice and the academic field.
