Industrial Engineering

Our primary goal as the Altinbas University’s Industrial Engineering Department is to educate engineers that will compete at the forefront of various sectors. To this end, the department’s distinguished, young and dynamic faculty aims to provide our students with the necessary theoretical and applied professional education, an open-minded and wide-perspective outlook on life, and a vigilant, inquisitive and enterprising approach to issues and opportunities. Towards this goal, we offer fundamental courses on the traditional topics of industrial engineering as well as advanced courses on topics that have more recently gained importance and are developing rapidly in a curriculum that can be tailored to the students’ individual areas of interest and career objectives. With an educational philosophy emphasizing student participation, project and team work, and case studies with direct connections to real life, we believe that we will offer a distinctive undergraduate program.

Career Prospects: Almost any company in the industrial, business and service sectors may benefit from the services of an Industrial Engineer. This may include, for example, the retail, health, financial, manufacturing, construction or chemical sectors.
