Program Overview
The Bachelor of Law program was submitted to the Academic Accreditation Body of the Ministry of Education and received eligibility for academic accreditation in the academic year 2005-2006, with a total of 141 credit hours. This program developed through multiple inputs in response to accreditation requirements, which contributed to its final accreditation according to Ministerial Decision No. 103 of the year 2011, dated April 28, 2011, with a total of 132 accredited hours. The program's accreditation was recently renewed on January 20, 2019.
The College of Law is committed to enhancing the Bachelor's program and meeting international expectations. The program received international accreditation in 2020 from the French High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres) for a duration of 5 years.
The law study plan is known for its emphasis on practical and applied skills that align with the demands of the job market. To enhance flexibility, starting from July 2023, the number of accredited program hours has been reduced from 132 to 129
Objectives of the Bachelor of Law program:

Admission Requirements:
To be admitted to the program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a high school certificate from the United Arab Emirates or its equivalent, endorsed by the Ministry of Education, with a minimum average of 70% for the Elite track, 75% for the Advanced track, or 80% for the General track.
- Pass the EmSAT Mathematics test with a score of at least 600, or meet alternative criteria specified by the university by obtaining a minimum of 65% in the Mathematics subject of the high school exams, or pass the college's Mathematics admission test.

Academic Degree Requirements:
To obtain a Bachelor's degree in Law, the following conditions must be met:
- Successfully complete 129 accredited hours.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 upon graduation.
- Adhere to the maximum duration of 8 academic years and a minimum duration of 3.5 academic years to remain in the program.
Tuition fees
The Bachelor of Law program comprises a total of 129 credit hours, with a tuition fee of 1,200 AED per credit hour, amounting to approximately 31,680 AED per year.
