Nursing interventions implemented in today's health care environment are carried out with the use of evidence based on research results. In meeting the needs of the individual, family and society, the nurse initiates and carries out clinical decisions in line with her knowledge. In order for nursing care to be effective, safe and sufficient, interventions must be evaluated carefully and critically. All of these reveal the necessity of continuing the theoretical and practical nursing professional education with contemporary methods with the philosophical belief in the uniqueness of the human being.

In Acıbadem University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, which aims to train qualified human resources; as in all education programs of practice-based disciplines, theoretical knowledge and clinical experience are inseparable parts that complement each other. In Kerem Aydınlar Campus, equipped with contemporary technology that supports its philosophy, vision, mission and nursing education values, we provide each student with simulation laboratories and equipment where they can put their theoretical education into practice and put it into practice in university hospitals.

As a result, the department aims to train world-class nurses who can provide excellent evidence-based care to sick/healthy individuals.
