SHSH Oakham (Classic plus Tennis)
Located in a historic market town, Oakham School offers an exceptional Classic Plus Tennis programme for international students aged eight to seventeen. This course combines fifteen hours of academic English lessons with nine hours of professional tennis coaching each week. Under the guidance of Lawn Tennis Association licensed coaches, individuals improve their serving, returning, and ball control while developing strategic match skills such as court positioning. The sessions are designed for all abilities, from beginner to advanced, and are taught entirely in English to build confidence in both language and sport. Residential accommodation is provided in single, twin, or small dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms and full-board catering. Beyond the courts, the programme features a vibrant social schedule with one full-day and two half-day excursions per week to major destinations like London and Cambridge. Energetic evening activities, including talent shows and international nights, allow participants to build global friendships in a safe and secure environment. Every student receives a placement test upon arrival and a final certificate of attendance to record their achievements. This comprehensive experience fosters personal growth and independence in the heart of England.

Requirements & Obligations
Health insurance is mandatory.
Applicants under the age of 18 must provide a "Family Consent Form" to apply. (The form must be downloaded and completed during the payment process.)
The person filling out the form must be a parent or legal guardian, and their status must be verified.
Airport Transfer & Transportation
An airport pickup fee applies.
For students under 16, an additional fee is required for airport transfer after the program ends.
Students are expected to arrive at the school one day before the program start date.
Group Participation & Student Supervision
For group programs, one teacher/guardian will be assigned per 10 students.
A chaperone will be present to supervise students.
Individual students will be integrated into an existing group upon arrival.
