The term project course is a course that non-thesis master's students must take in their last term (3rd Term). This course is non-credit and is evaluated as pass or fail. In previous terms, students must take the course or courses they failed together with the project course during the project terms. If a student fails a project course or fails a course they failed again, their studentship is automatically terminated.
In order to graduate from the program, the above conditions must be met, the total course load must be completed with a GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, and the master's thesis must be successful.
Supervision Courses and Prerequisite Courses
In their first term, students must first take and successfully pass the elective course "Clinical Practice and Supervision". Successful students will be asked through a survey at the end of the term whether they would like to receive supervision training in their second term, either cognitive behavioral therapy or dynamic/analytical therapy. Students' supervision classes will be determined according to the results of this survey.
Only students who have passed to their 2nd term and taken the ''Clinical Practice and Supervision'' course in their 1st term will be able to select KPSİ561 - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practice and Supervision or KPSİ565-Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Practice and Supervision courses through the system. Course approvals will not be made for students who select these courses in their 1st term because they do not meet the prerequisites.
NOTE: Cognitive Behavioral Therapies I course is a compulsory course that must be taken in the 1st Term, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies II course is a compulsory course that must be taken in the 2nd Term. Students who choose both courses in their first semester will not have their courses approved.
