Educational science

Students should be able to analyze contemporary educational problems using educational theories, concepts, and methods and to independently apply the knowledge acquired during their studies in their professional lives.The major in educational science includes courses in general educational science as well as courses in a chosen specialization:

• Social pedagogy/child and youth education
• Adult education/further training
• Special education

The program is complemented by general vocational skills training. Furthermore, an internship provides insights into potential career fields.

In an additional elective area, students can take courses that correspond to their personal or professional interests. These can be used to expand their specialist knowledge or deepen their language skills, for example.
