The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow (UITM), known in Polish as Wyzsza Szkola Informatyki i Zarzadzania, was officially founded on March 8, 1996. It is the largest and highest-ranked private university in south-eastern Poland, located in the Podkarpackie region.

UITM's current structure includes four educational colleges: Management, Applied Computer Science, Media and Social Communication, and Medical. In addition to educational activities, the university runs many scientific research projects and organizes numerous international scientific and industry conferences.

With over 400 academic staff members, including 52 foreign lecturers from countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, and Germany, UITM offers programs in both Polish and English. The university has welcomed students from more than 70 countries, creating a vibrant multicultural learning environment across its two campuses in Rzeszow and Kielnarowa.
