STEM & English for Science
COURSE OVERVIEW
Participants will take part in lectures, workshops and science-based English lessons as well as visits to local places of relevant interest. Lectures will cover subjects such as a physics masterclass and may also feature guest lecturers. Potential Workshops include topics such as Build a Volcano, The Thermite Reaction and Cauliflower Cloning. Students will also take part in practical lab-work demonstrations to put the theory into practice. Visit destinations may include the Science Museum, The National Space Centre or Bletchley Park. English lessons will develop each of the four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as knowledge of scientific vocabulary and grammar necessary to present projects in appropriate English.

Requirements & Obligations
Health insurance is mandatory.
Applicants under the age of 18 must provide a "Family Consent Form" to apply. (The form must be downloaded and completed during the payment process.)
The person filling out the form must be a parent or legal guardian, and their status must be verified.
Airport Transfer & Transportation
An airport pickup fee applies.
For students under 16, an additional fee is required for airport transfer after the program ends.
Students are expected to arrive at the school one day before the program start date.
Group Participation & Student Supervision
For group programs, one teacher/guardian will be assigned per 10 students.
A chaperone will be present to supervise students.
Individual students will be integrated into an existing group upon arrival.
