Using a wide range of mark making techniques in different materials you will explore contemporary painting and drawing using Cambridge as your inspiration and being guided by your expert tutor. You may visit a local gallery or the Cambridge Botanical Gardens and build your skills to include a wide range of contextual perspective and create a strong body of visually interesting works.

BROADEN YOUR SKILLS IN THE INDUSTRY
Drawing is the basis for any creative art. This course is ideal for those that want to pursue careers in fine art and illustration. It also provides a foundation for different creative disciplines including graphics, fashion, 3D and animation. The activities on this course help you to think creatively and challenge your mind set and approach to artistic problems. You will also have the opportunity to visit galleries and museums and gather research to inform your own responses

PROGRESSION AT CSVPA
Completion of the course can enable progression on to our University of the Arts London Awarding Body Extended Diploma or Foundation Diploma if you meet the UAL entry criteria for the course.

Requirements & Obligations
Health insurance is mandatory.
Applicants under the age of 18 must provide a "Family Consent Form" to apply. (The form must be downloaded and completed during the payment process.)
The person filling out the form must be a parent or legal guardian, and their status must be verified.
Airport Transfer & Transportation
An airport pickup fee applies.
For students under 16, an additional fee is required for airport transfer after the program ends.
Students are expected to arrive at the school one day before the program start date.
Group Participation & Student Supervision
For group programs, one teacher/guardian will be assigned per 10 students.
A chaperone will be present to supervise students.
Individual students will be integrated into an existing group upon arrival.
