If you would like to attend university in Ireland or the UK, our University Pathway Programme (Ireland & UK) can give you the English language education you need and help you maximise your IELTs score. On weekday mornings, you’ll take our General English classes followed by specialist classes in IELTS /Academic English in the afternoons. After class and in the evenings and weekends, you can enjoy the culture and character of your new city.

Course Details

Our University Pathway English Programme is based on a 3, 6 or 9 months course and is designed to get your IELTS score to the level required to allow you to study in the university of your choice. On weekday mornings, our General English lessons are designed to make sure you are always building your language skills, while gradually increasing your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar at the same time. While in the afternoons, you will take specialist classes in IELTS /Academic English. As part of the IELTS classes you will learn key skills in Academic English including note- taking, listening to lectures, referencing and conducting research.

What you need to know

Designed for students with IELTS score of 3.5 or equivalent, you will take 26 lessons per week 09-13:00 Mon to Fri, and 14:00 - 16:30 Tues to Thurs (Ireland)/ 30 lessons per week 09:30 - 13:00 Mon to Fri 14:00 - 16:30 Tues to Thurs (UK). You can expect to have 12-14 students in your class and for this course, you need to be minimum 16 years of age.
