EP Berlin General German Semi-Intensive

The General German Semi-Intensive course at EP Berlin consists of 20 lessons in the morning plus one extra lesson per day (e.g., functional language/pronunciation/writing/authentic listening/speaking and discussion). The additional lesson builds on the language from the main sessions and focuses on a particular area, for example, writing or functional German for real-life situations. 

The General German programme at EP Berlin is designed to help you develop your German language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. You will practise your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a communicative approach with the help of our experienced and qualified teachers. With General German Semi-intensive Courses, there are also many opportunities for you to learn and practise your French language skills in 'real-life' situations. 

At EP Berlin, we offer six levels of General German Courses from Beginner to Advanced.  

• Our Beginner level class accepts students with very little exposure to German. 
• Lower-level students may also choose to increase their progress by taking additional 1-1 classes.
• Our Advanced General German class is for students with high-level communicative skills.
• Some students may also consider an intensive course to accelerate their learning or go on to study German examination preparation courses. 
• For those students who would like more time to explore the city in which they're studying, we recommend the 'Classic 20' or 'Semi-intensive 25' course.
