Services for international students
Leeds Beckett University provides an English programme for international and EU students. It offers support with Academic English and study skills as well as adaptation to the British university system and general life in Britain and is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. ECIS is divided into month-long short courses of two hours per week and includes classes on essay writing, note taking, lectures and general study skills alongside language skills. All students enrolled on the programme can also take part in one-to-one tutorials with a tutor. A meet and greet service is offered for new international student arrivals at Leeds Bradford Airport and Leeds train station.
